This film doesn’t look like much, but I agree, it’s sweet and fun and largely clean. Also, motion-capture animation is fascinating.

Nice review. I don’t agree though with the cheering when the bad guy dies. I am rather glad that those people noticed that the bad guy was bad, and didn’t like it. It seems like a lot of bad guys now days aren’t that bad at all, or are just cool (aka Loki or the Joker). I agree we should not be glad that someone dies, but instead be glad that the wicked have received their punishment and God has removed them. I hope this make sense. I have a knack for marring things. ~N

I concur. This movie isn’t particularly brilliant in terms of the story (the art, on the other hand…!), but it is clean and fun. I received this film as a gift from someone because she knew I liked dinosaurs, animation, and a good score. It was the perfect fit for me.

Great review! I too thought it was a well done film, but I didn’t like Orlando Bloom’s acting. After watching it, I read The Politicly Incorrect Guide to Islam And The Crusades it is was nothing like what was portrayed in the movie. Oh well, ’tis Hollywood. ~N
